Italian fund for Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Internet of Things

As of 21 September 2022, subsidies allocated through the Fund for the Development of AI, Blockchain and IoT can be requested from the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MISE).

 

The expenses for which subsidies will be provided are those for:

a. personnel employed in the project;

b. instrumentation and equipment;

c. contractual research, purchase and licence of knowledge and patents, related consultancy services;

d. additional overheads and other operating costs.

 

The total pool available amounts to € 45 million. It is intended for companies that carry out industrial activities for the production of goods and services, agro-industrial activities, artisan activities, transport services, services to the companies that carry out the aforementioned activities, as well as to research centres with legal personality. Large companies can only obtain the benefits in the context of a project that provides for effective collaboration with beneficiary SMEs.
