Environmental
Garbage
We strictly comply with the applicable rules on recycling.
Paper
We are almost paperless. The entire archive of the firm is digital and stored on the cloud. We encourage our people not to print documents unless strictly necessary.
Plastic
We only use biodegradable materials (e.g. dishes) for our events. We encourage our people to buy products with a cardboard box. We buy water in glass bottles and return the empty bottles to the supplier.
Sustainable Mobility
We travel by train within the national boundaries. If we are travelling to a location without a train station, where possible we choose car sharing with electric cars and car pooling.
Air Conditioning
We avoid using air conditioning at excessively low temperatures. To this end, we encourage men to come to the office without a tie in the summer and only use it where necessary for formal meetings.
Social
Gender Equality
We ensure equal compensation and career opportunities regardless of gender. Under no circumstances does gender influence entry into the firm or career progression within the firm.
Enhancement of young people and transparency of career paths
We select colleagues exclusively on a merit basis and with criteria that are transparent and disclosed before the selection process.
We promote the development of young talents, allowing them to gain experience abroad in affiliated firms, where available.
The career path is transparent and known to all colleagues.
We support our trainees’ preparation for the bar exam by paying them during the relevant study-leave periods.
Periodic satisfaction surveys and possibility of submitting internal complaints
We meet altogether every Monday (including via videoconference) for a general status update and to discuss the atmosphere within the firm and any possible issues. We encourage our people to openly raise any concerns.
We run a comprehensive review of our people’s performances, goals and satisfaction twice per year.
Parenting Support
We support parenting by giving the parent maximum flexibility in managing time off and working remotely.
Work-life balance
We encourage our people to engage in recreational and personal activities, including enabling remote work whenever necessary.
We do not have a requirement to be in the office at fixed times or days: what matters is the achievement of the objectives set for each colleague.
When a colleague’s workload starts to limit their free time too much, we take steps to lighten it.
Governance
File sharing with clients
All the firm's documents are in the cloud and accessible to clients, where required, with appropriate precautions to avoid illegitimate access and use.
Time-sheet
The activities carried out on behalf of clients are detailed in specific time-sheets that are sent as an attachment to the invoice to clients where required. Clients can also access real-time time-sheets in the cloud.
Data security and confidentiality
All the firm’s and clients’ files are protected by an encrypted connection. Access is only granted on a need-to-know basis.
Each colleague receives a letter of appointment outlining the security measures to be adopted for data security and undertakes to maintain data confidentiality.
Emails are marked as confidential.
We process personal data in strict compliance with the GDPR and the provisions of the Italian Data Protection Authority.
Prevention of conflicts of interest
Before acquiring any new clients we carry out a conflict check with the current assignments of the firm and those of the recent past.
Client feedback and complaints
We periodically invite clients to provide their feedback on our work.
In case of a client’s complaint, we assign its management to a partner of the firm who is not involved in the relevant case.
