Martini Manna accredited with S.I.A.C. – the Guardia di Finanza’s Anti-Counterfeiting Information System

Martini Manna has been accredited with the S.I.A.C., the online Anti-Counterfeiting Information System of the Guardia di Finanza (the Italian Tax & Customs police force). Through the dedicated online portal, Martini Manna can now submit information on its customers’ products and trademarks for the attention of the Guardia di Finanza, and liaise directly with the latter, receiving and handling feedback on any seizures and other protective actions.

The Guardia di Finanza’s anti-counterfeiting portal, which can be combined with customs intervention applications (against imports of infringing goods from non-EU countries), is a very effective pre-emptive tool for the protection of intellectual property rights. It allows users to become a true “partner” of the Guardia di Finanza in the fight against counterfeiting, which essentially translates into a reinforced protection for trademarks and products submitted.
